We went on a Gay Hajj to the Stonewall on Christopher Street which is said to be the birth place of the gay rights movement in the US.
This is Kurt taking a photo of Stonewall…the back of his head is actually more interesting than the place itself.
There was one other museum on our list. It had the original stuffed animals and text from Winnie the Pooh.
After being ripped off by the YouTube museum we were a bit wary. Fortunately we found a picture of them in the subway so we figured that was good enough.
We got locked out of our room – so headed off to the front desk to get it sorted . While we were there I asked for a copy of our bill to date – to see if we needed to rob a bank before we checked out. I am not a fan of eating in hotels or room service. I once had a $45.00 club sandwich (with cold, limp, french fries) and that firmed my resolve.
So i started to get nervous when our bill was printing, page after page after page…
Turns out there are 4 different taxes applied each night. We do not know what the Javits Convention Center is – but we are going there tomorrow to get our $1.50 worth.
