Berlin

We arrived in Berlin 3 days ago, haven’t done much as yet. Scouted the area and we have scored. The area around the apartment is cool and groovy, lot’s of cafes, and restaurants and a million bakeries for those carb cravings. The Berliners are very into “ Bio” foods i.e. organic with about 5 supermarkets stocking only that in the immediate vicinity. They may be healthy eaters but it seems that half the population smokes. Bikes are big as well, Berlin is as flat as a pancake with bike lanes on the major streets, right next to and on the same level as the footpath, nearly got collected once and now I’m very aware of them. Zach arrives on Monday, so we’ll move around the city a bit more then. Weather is beautiful.
