Yesterday we caught the UBahn into Potzdamer Platz and saw the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag (Parliament). The Reichstag has a cool dome that you can walk around the loops inside but you have to send an email and book, so we’ll do that another time.
The Brandenburg Gate is pretty cool and has a welcome to the seat of my empire feel about it. Darth Vader was there as well. We sat down and talked with Darth for awhile and apparently he didn’t die in the final Star Wars movie but got caught up in some online Eastern European fetish porn ring, appearing in such classics as The Vader Monologues and In Vader. They dumped him when he started to lose his looks and is now forced to pimp himself out for photos with tourists, sad, but we didn’t pay and just pretended he wasn’t in the shot.
