Kindle blah blah blah

I will have to disagree with my learned colleague, Glen. The problem with the Kindle is that it only reads Mobi files which are the domain of Amazon only, so if you want to obtain your books from one source that’s fine. A fine alternative is the Sony range of e-readers. I have a PRS350, it reads all file types (PDF, Mobi, RTF, EPub, etc), is a touch screen so you tap on a word and the dictionary tells you the meaning, and the pages turn with minimal thumb movement. The only draw back is that you have to plug into your computer to load books but we all plug in most days so it’s not a hassle and the battery lasts 2-3 weeks and you can load a couple of hundred books at one time. So ner to Glen and his Kindle fanboy rubbish !
