We rented a car and left Prague today for a trip down to the historic town of Czseky Krumlov.
I know I am not the best driver (Kurt reminds me often) and it’s generally my (lack of) driving skills that puts other people in danger. NOT here. No Way. Not on the narrow single lane roads of the Czech Republic.
These guys are friggin nuts. We had so many near misses from oncoming traffic trying to overtake; the trip started to get a bit scary. It’s hard to describe but it seems the assumption is when overtaking, if you run out of time, any oncoming traffic will just slide off the road to avoid a collision. Once you commit to passing a vehicle you are not allowed to change your mind. The fine and loss of points for doing so must be pretty heavy cause these guys were risking death than losing their license.
I do not want to drive home…![]()
