That’s 50 years folks. Let’s look back on the changes over his lifetime.
He was born in the the cold north of Canada.
Life was tough at school, having no hands meant other talents developed. Singing became his life, founding a travelling band that became immensely popular.
Tastes were changing though, gone were the wholesome images, he reinvented himself into a glam rock superstar with his band Facepainters, the highest selling band ever (excluding other bands who sold more).
But all bubbles burst. Developing a serious allergy to face paint, his singing career was over but this multi-talented man branched out into acting, winning a Peoples Choice Award for his role as “police officer 3” in Smokey and the Bandit.
Now residing in Berlin, he was drafted into the German Lie Down and Go Very Fast Team after winning the Bavarian Lie Down and Go Very Fast Amateurs.
Glen spends his spare time dog sledding around his front yard
and making fake ancient pottery for the smaller regional museums that can’t afford the real thing.
All in all 18,263 days well spent.
