On the final leg of this Birthday extravaganza we went and saw the Blue Man Group the other night.
Was not sure what to expect – but i have heard about them for soooo long. They have been around for 25 years! We did not get a chance to see them in New York but luckily they are sort of a franchise now, so we got to see them here.
The show was great. It is real mash-up of music, multimedia and humour – with lots of audience involvement. As an aside, am I the only one that gets a terrible knot in my stomach when the house lights come up – the actors leave the stage and start trawling through the audience looking for “volunteers”? All i can think is “please God pick Kurt”
One thing i did take out of it was that if you paint your face blue you can get away with anything…so here goes…

Ha ha brilliant although a little sad your journey is almost at an end, and even sadder you’ll only be a couple of hours up the road and we won’t see you. I promise promise promise that if I get my arse to Sydney soon, I’ll come and see you two. Keep having a blast and Blue Man Group is sensational xxxxxxxx
